Anna's 1st Official Haircut

We took Dylan to Snippets for his first haircut, and thought it only fair to also take Anna. Paul will post the video of her getting her hair cut(which they record for you) soon. As you can tell they cater to babies and toddlers. There are little cars and airplanes to sit in, videos to watch and lollipops to eat, all to keep our little ones entertained while someone cuts their hair. Overall, Anna did really well, just like her big brother. In the beginning she soothed herself with her binky, but the binky was soon replaced by her lollipop.

If you think this is a little over the top, let me tell you about my trip to the grocery store this morning. I don't know if this is common in all grocery stores, because we don't go to the large stores, instead we do all our shopping on-line or at our small neighborhood market. So anyway, what has me so amused is that there were these grocery cars that you could rent for $1 while you shopped. Both kids could get inside, close the door, steer and watch videos while I shopped and put groceries in the back of the car. We didn't have anything like this when I was a kid. How did our parents survive pushing the standard, boring grocery cart through the store with multiple kids in tow. They sure are making things easy for us these days, and totally spoiling our kids in the meantime.
