Day 1 Playing at the Beach

The kids put on their bathing suits as soon as we arrived at the cabin in the Northwoods of Wisconsin, and spent the whole afternoon playing in the lake and on the beach in front of the cabin. You can see our cabin in the background of one of the pictures. They took a bath then relaxed in the big comfy bed.

During the week, we would go somewhere special in the morning, when it was a little chilly, then come back and play at the lake in the afternoon. Anna and Dylan could walk way out because it was not very deep. They could just about make it to the boats at the docks, and out there the water would still only be up to their chests. The bottom of the lake was all sand, so they could play safely.
